Japan Uses Anime to Target New Generation of Voters

Japanese cities are using manga and anime to convince young adults to vote in forthcoming elections. The popular media formats featured in electoral commission materials aims at 18 and 19-year-olds. Recently Japan lowered the voting age to 18, which added approximately 2.4 million voters to the Japanese electorate.
