CyberConnect2 Is Asking For Your Help To Create Another .hack Game!

by Dave on Jul 27 2018 |

Late last night, CyberConnect2's official Facebook page had some venting to do about the .hack franchise. A quick summary here: CC2 has a bunch of new .hack ideas, but Bandai Namco is just not interested right now. Here's where you come into play - start bugging Namco Bandai! The entirety of the Facebook post reads:

We get a lot of requests regarding remakes, remasters, re-releases, etc. concerning the ".hack" series, so here's our response. We at CyberConnect2 have suggested many ideas to Bandai Namco Entertainment (the publisher, AKA the client) in regards to the .hack series in the past, and we still discuss these ideas with them today. However, in the end, the one who has the power to green-light anything in regards to the ".hack" series is Bandai Namco Entertainment. We appreciate your passion and love for the ".hack" series, and we hear requests from tons of people every day. But in order for that passion to reach the people who have control over the future developments of the ".hack" series, we ask for everyone to please send your requests directly to Bandai Namco Entertainment so they can hear what you have to say.

Chicago's Pokémon GO Fest 2018 Was a Celebi-ratory Return Niantic Needed To Have

by Dave on Jul 17 2018 |

Pokémon GO Fest 2018 summed up in two words: it worked! If you're not familiar with Niantic's inaugural GO Fest last year... well, it didn't work. The end result was Niantic apologizing profusely on stage at Grant Park in Chicago. Every attendee received a Lugia automagically in their Pokedex and 10,000 poke coins to spend in the store as a "our bad" gesture. GO Fest 2018, albeit a bit different from last year, thankfully, was a wild success. Here's our quick review in the full story. Read full story...
