Need motivation on a current or future project? An 82 year old Japanese woman just created her first iOS app! "I wanted to create a fun app to get elderly people interested in smartphones... It took about half a year to develop," stated Masako Wakamiya.

Masako Wakamiya's iOS app, which was launched back in March, is based on the Japanese doll festival Hinamatsuri, which celebrates the well-being of young girls and women. The game was created with elderly users in mind and is slow in pace.

While Wakamiya may argubably be the oldest app developer in the world, she recently became the oldest attendee at Apple's WWDC, a yearly developer conference in San Jose, California.
