All Nippon Airways (ANA) recently launched an initiative on IS JAPAN COOL? that showcases the splendor of matsuri (festivals) in Japan. Accompanied by the booming sounds of world-renown Japanese drum troupe KODO, users can view 360-degree camera views at festivals. KODO’s songs were created especially for the matsuri website with the use of new 3D sound technology so that the degree of sound in front of, behind, above and below the listener changes. Japanese Man Takes Massive Pet Tortoise For Walk In Tokyo

63 year old Hisano Mitani has a giant African tortoise who he takes for walks in Fukushima, Tokyo nearly every day. Obviously, these walks are very, very slow. Japanese Variety Show Actor Loses It After Trying to Pronounce Massachusetts State

A Japanese actor/commedian named Jimmy Onishi, who is one of the stars in the variety show Gaki no Tsukai in Japan, was having some issues trying to pronounce the state of Massachusetts during a table read of the show.
